ABOUT LYNN FINLEY
Bringing 30+ Years of Healthcare Expertise
I have lived in Mendocino County for over twenty-five years, and many years of my professional life have been here. When residing in Anderson Valley in the ‘80s, I volunteered for the Fire Department and ambulance service and was an employee of an inland ambulance service. I became an RN in 1994 after earning a nursing degree from the College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg and started as a student nurse here. I have also obtained a B.A. in Business Management and a master’s in public administration with an emphasis on health care. I have worked in both clinical care and administration since 2006, so I have a comprehensive understanding of fiscal responsibility and the importance of transparency to the community we serve. I have also served on the county’s Behavioral Health Advisory Board and am a faithful volunteer. I am passionate about keeping good health care on the coast, so I hope to serve on the Mendocino County Health Care District board of directors.
What I bring to this position is a passion for healthcare and this community. Having been involved with the coast hospital as part of the executive team I have an understanding of healthcare finances and the needs of this community. I hope to bring transparency and a working relationship with the community in our support of keeping and improving healthcare local
